Terrazzo dell’lnfinito

The Villa Cimbrone in Ravello, stands on a rocky outcrop known as “Cimbronium”. It dates back to at least the 11th Century. Gore Vidal wrote ‘Twenty five years ago I was asked by an American magazine what was the most beautiful place that I had ever seen in all my travels and I said the view from the belvedere of the Villa Cimbrone on a bright winter’s day when the sky and the sea were each so vividly blue that it was not possible to tell one from the other.’

About Michael Clayton Potts

I was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in my father's dark room, or so it felt. Most of my happiest memories were watching photographs appear in the developing tray.

Whilst in South Africa, I completed a Fine Art degree at Rhodes University, Grahamstown where I studied under Obie Oberholtzer.

Now I am living in London, where I am a member of London Independent Photography.
